A Salvadorean nun reportedly delivered a baby boy on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 after she felt stomach cramps in her convent.
Interestingly the 31-year-old woman says she ‘she had no idea’ she was pregnant until she was rushed to Reiti Hospital, central Italy, to deliver her baby.
‘I did not know I was pregnant. I only felt a stomach pain’, the nun was quoted as saying at the hospital, the Italian news agency ANSA reported.
The baby has reportedly been named after the Pope Francis.
NET reached out to the hospital but has gotten no response as at the time of this report.
