Former Actors’ Guild of Nigeria President, Ibinabo Fiberesima is single again following the end of her two-year marriage to her lover from her university days, Uche Egbuka.
The estranged couple got married in December 2014.
Ibinabo, who’s a year older today, January 13, revealed her ‘re-emergence’ as a single person and the pains she suffered in 2016 via Instagram earlier today.
‘From the shock of a 3 time presense of lumps in the breast to surgeries fighting for my life,’ the actress wrote. ‘And the pain of a dissolution of a bond I hoped to keep with a life time partner and the re-emergence of singleness.’
The former beauty queen got married for the first time in 2014 after having four children from previous relationships, including her youngest daughter Zino for filmmaker, Fred Amata.
Ibinabo was just getting her groove back following her sacking as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria in March 2016, after which she was sentenced to a five-year jail term by a Federal High Court in Lagos.
The sentence was for manslaughter and reckless driving after she accidentally killed a man identified as Giwa Suraj in 2006.
However, her bail was granted for N2m and two sureties, in consideration of her breast cancer dilemma.
