In a statement concerning the postponement, the founder of the awards, Mr. Cally Ikpe said the postponement is inevitable.
In his words, ‘Due to Circumstances beyond our control, it has become inevitable to postpone by a few weeks the 9th edition of the annual Nigerian Music Video Awards earlier fixed for December 17, 2015. A new date will be communicated shortly. We deeply regret all inconveniences’.
