
Former minister of health, Babatunde Osotimehin has died at the age of 68.
Reports say he passed at the early hours of Monday.
Osotimehin served as Nigeria’s health minister from December 2008 to March 2010. He was also a former Provost of the College of Medicine at the University of Ibadan.
He was, until his death, the Executive Director of the United Nations Populations Fund, UNFPA.
