Nigerian twitter users have been showing their support for their brother, Dipo Omishore aka Dot da Genius aka the man Jhene Aiko publicly cheated on and went ahead to dump.
Here’s how it went down:
So yesterday while we were going about our businesses jejeli, TMZ dropped the killer news: Jhene Aiko has finally filed for a divorce from her Nigerian husband barely a year into the marriage. This, after she had spent the better part of their marriage frolicking round town with rapper Big Sean and calling him daddy upanddan.

Well, Nigerians were not happy with the news and took to twitter to show their solidarity for their compatriot by coming for Jhene with all sorts of weapons.
The most interesting part is Jhene spent most of her day defending herself against hate and trying to justify her acts. Apparently she doesn’t like being tagged a cheating hoe. Aunty, it is too late abeg.
Anyway, find some of the angry tweets below

How do you cheat and start saying
“He did this and did that?”
Why didn’t you leave him and then wild out instead of cheating @JheneAiko— Osaro (@osaroosamagie) August 13, 2016
God forbid I end up with a woman like Jhene Aiko that’ll be calling another man daddy while we married

Some women defended her
Ok Jhene Aiko cheated and love happened and you people want her to stay in a marriage when she loves someone else? Out of pity?

– Jhene Aiko found true love so Idk what the fuss is all about. Even if she and Big Sean don’t last, it’s still no one’s business. Haters
— Sassy Girl. (@Iusciouslips_) August 12, 2016
And got dragged too
@KingUcheOdoh LOL. So it’s okay to cheat on your husband now as long as you find love with the other person in the end?
— Big Ben (@Big_Bad_Ben) August 13, 2016
I know u think you know it all but if a man did this same thing… women will condemn him @KingUcheOdoh
— Paid in Full (@PaidNatasha) August 13, 2016
Are people actually doing think-pieces, trying to defend what Jhene Aiko was doing with Big Sean in public, while she was still married?
— Wolé II (@Kingwole) August 13, 2016
These folks calling Jhene Aiko’s adultery “goals” please shift with your hypocrisy so i can see EPL banter properly
— kenna (@kennagq) August 13, 2016
If you support Jhene Aiko’s actions today, let’s see how you feel when you get married and your husband meets the “love of his life” outside
— Ricky Sharks. (@Twickta) August 13, 2016
While all this was still going on, Jhene was busy deleting her replies to the Nigerian folk and all tweets relating to her upcoming divorce from Dot da Genius.
Anyway, I’ll just conclude with this
No Fields Found.Jhene Aiko’s problem isn’t my problem, she has money
