Former professional footballer Ugochukwu Ugo Ehiogu has been appointed the under-21 coach of England’s Tottenham Hotspur football club.
The announcement was made by the club’s website page on Friday, July 25, 2014.
‘We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ugo Ehiogu as coach of our Under-21 side, the former Aston Villa and Middlesbrough central defender, who has been working within our Academy on a part-time basis, will be assisted by former Academy player Matthew Wells, who steps up from coaching our Under-15 side.’
He earned four caps for England before retiring in 2009 after playing for West Brom, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Rangers and Sheffield United.
