Nigeria Tennis star, Segun Toriola was on Saturday, July, 28th, 2012, defeated from the Olympics in the men’s singles against Swedish Persson Jorgen.
The game which was his second in the Olympics was a 4-1 win in favour of Jorgen whilst Toriola had defeated his Canadian opponent Andre Ho with the same scores in his first game.
The Professional French player is said to be the First Nigerian to have featured in 6 Olympic games consecutively.
Meanwhile the Nigerian Tennis team for the Olympics have lost out in all their games as the female duo of Funke Oshonaike and Edem Offiong were trashed out from the games as well as the last man standing in the tennis squad, Ouadri Aruna.
