
The first ever Nigerian Idol show comes to an end on Sunday March 27, 2011 as the winner of the TV reality show will emerge this weekend.
The show has seen 13 finalists, all competing for the number one spot which attracts the grand prize of a recording contract, 7.5Million naira, a brand new car and a Sony entertainment TV center.
As of now, only two contestants, Yeka Onka 26 and Naomi Mac 19, are left in the competition and will this Sunday for one last time, thrill the crowd with their beautiful voices before a final decision is made to pick the better perfomer. The winner will be announced in the presence of top-notch entertainment personalities, relatives and friends of the contestants.
Just to spice up the evening, a theme song will be performed by the 13 finalists Ola, Nina, Chito, AJ, Tonii, George, Zoe, Alex, Glory, Bibi, Emmanuel including the last two finalists, Yeka and Naomi. Also, fast rising R&B singers Praiz and Retta will deliver individual solo performances.
In what has been a very exciting competition that has seen over 10,000 (ten thousand) contestants slug it out since it debuted on Sunday November 21, 2010, Nigerian Idol has become a TV favourite for viewers.
‘Numerous talents came for raw auditions; and with the help of the judges and the viewers, we have been able to cut it down to 100, then 50, 13 and now we present to you two divas- Yeka Onka and Naomi Mac who will be slugging it out for the grand prize’, Rotimi Pedro MD of Optima Media Group, owners of the Nigerian Idol franchise says.

Naomi Mac any day any time , she has the voice the poise can compete withot letting you down with regards to voice.
She learns the song ang well and is consistent
