Written and directed by Thomas Ikimi, Crusaders tells the story of Africans in America who are on a quest to locate stolen artifacts from Africa by the colonialists during the occupation of the continent.

The movie which is a Fox production also has Ikimi and Elba as executive producers.
Thomas Ikimi was born in London in 1979 to Nigerian parents. He however spent a brief part of his growing up days in Lagos before returning to London. He graduated from Columbia University in New york.
