The Nigeria born British actor was named ahead of Idris Elba who has been rumoured to play the character for months now.
Expectant fans will however not be seeing the actor’s face as the role is actually for an audio book titled Trigger Moris. David Oyelowo will be voicing the character in the new audiobook which was written by Anthony Horowitz.
Reacting to his selection, David Oyelowo is quoted to have said that he fells ‘very honoured’ to be considered for the role. The book is set for release on September 8, 2015.
