Nollywood actor, director and politician, Desmond Elliot is on the hot seat today as he’s in contention for a seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly in elections holding today.
The notable producer is contesting on the platform of the APC and for some reasons, he’s been trending on Twitter since morning. While thousands of his fans are wishing him luck and sending him prayers ahead of today’s elections, others are commenting on a photo of the star that has gone viral.
In the photo, Desmond appears to be sharing money to people including policemen at a recent campaign rally in his Surulere Constituency. He shared the photograph on Twitter with the caption ‘The Police Is Your friend’.
