Young female rapper Ms Chief keeps proving she’s here to make a strong impression in the Nigerian hiphop scene, clearly outnumbered by her upcoming male counterparts, Yemi Hassan doesn’t seem to be bothered.
After working with the likes of veteran hip-hop producer Ex-O and pop act Wizkid on previous singles, Ms Chief has tasted a bit of underground and mainstream flavour, hence a third single that blends both.
‘Like Friday‘ which features an original verse from the late Dagrin is a toast to the fifth day of the week and all the fun that comes with it. Ms Chief impresses with her delivery as she clearly passes her message along – and with a fresh verse from Dagrin, you’ll definitely play this over and over again.
