Adol, born Solomon Adewole might look like your everyday ‘regular guy’ but he isn’t. The Lagos-born 27-year-old singer and songwriter has been training his vocals from a young age and after getting the approval of many, he decided to venture into world of music.
So in the early 2000’s he formed a group with two other friends called ‘Three Souls’, but it was when he moved on as a solo act and released the mild hit ‘Orin’ that heads turned and noticed him. He went on to release his debut work under Toni Payne‘s management in April 2011 and has gradually pulled a basic fan base which is steadily growing.
If ‘Gugu Gaga’, was a picture, it would have more colours than a rainbow. The pop-infused second single from Adol would have quite a number of female likes as its lyrics suggests ‘cuddle time’. Adol can still improve on his voice though, as he sounds unsure of himself in some instances but all in all, it’s a lovely song.
