BrymO never really hit us spot on in the face. His first single ‘Shawty‘ was a wonderful number but it never really took him to that ‘pop status’. Signed to Bujoc records back then, he managed to stay afloat for a while.
So even though the video got a nomination at the Sound City Music Awards (SMVA) in 2009, it wasn’t until he graced the Iceprince monster hit ‘Oleku‘, that he suddenly became the talk of the town. From then on, he has featured on a host of other relevant songs, as his counterparts now feel his voice is a recipe for a perfect hit song (think Nate Dogg here).
Now signed to Chocolate City, Brymo ventures once again into a familiar territory with his latest single ‘Drifting‘, but unlike his former releases, he takes a more subtle approach; on a guitar laced beat with harmonic chords, BrymO captivates his listeners with a tale of ‘love gone sour’. What a beautiful piece!
