Zee (real name Dzakeh Maria Ekpong) is a young talent who made her debut early 2010 when she appeared on “Come get with me” a 2 minute video by producer/artiste Tha suspect. A graduate of French in the University of Lagos, ZEE started her journey in music in 2006 as has featured on various songs label mate Tha Suspect’s ‘Tuale‘ and ‘I no send you‘.
Currently signed to Capital Hill Music, her first official single ‘Mic check‘ sends warning shots out to her predecessors; there’s a new girl in town. Zee has no time as she drops hot lines like ‘heading for the sky, I’m something like a rocket/I’m off the chain just like a missing locket‘. But Tha Suspect’s lackluster hook slows down the tempo a bit.
However, it will be nice to watch her grow under a music house that has raised female rapper Kel and watch how things will pan out. Listen up…

Nice effort by a young girl. She’s really on the lyrical side of things..better than Kel?? time will tell but lyrically she holds her own
