Assuming the position of ‘Boss’ comes with its issues – the most worrying is that everybody wants to kick you out of your office (word to Tom Kane in the TV series BOSS).
So what does a boss do when he feels threatened? He starts taking warning shots, random, subliminal before he goes for his gusto.
That’s what Olamide is doing; on his new freestyle ‘Baddest N***a that liveth‘, he takes swipes at Nigerian rappers who claim to be ‘cream’.
In a clever lyrical delivery over Jay Z’s 2003 hit single ‘Dirt off your shoulder‘, Badoo taunts his ‘preys’, asking if they are the top rappers in the country, why show organizers didn’t call them up when Chris Brown or Rick Ross performed in Lagos.
He ends the freestyle, saying he’s not here to fight for any ‘best rapper’ title -we think he’s not telling the truth there though…Listen below…
