Since the falling apart of Mo’Hits, Nigerians have set their eyes on the other music power houses and of course Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) makes the list. And to keep the flag flying, the EME all stars have decided to release the first single off their forthcoming ‘The Empire Mates State of Mind‘ compilation album.
Sadly, the trio fail in making a heavy impact with the new single ‘Baddest boy‘. While pop star Wizkid starts the song with lacklustre lyrics, Skales follows suit but should be commended for a brave delivery.
Banky however should be credited as the worst performer on the song with his verse as he tries to balance between rapping and singing.
The chorus delivered solely by Wizkid also fails to give the song a general rounded feel. Better luck next time…

Banky’s verse was the best. That wasn’t an attempt @ rap. I guess Drake, Kanye et al have blurred the line btw singing and rapping but that doesn’t excuse this review. Great song IMO
