Liquolions – Liquorose has emerged NET Honours Class of 2022 ‘Most Popular Fandom (BBNaija)’, warding off stiff competition from fan bases like Titans – Tacha, Elites – Erica, Icons – Laycon, Mercenaries – Mercy and Money Gang – Whitemoney.
NET Honours is an annual people’s choice award presented to deserving individuals in the Nigerian entertainment industry with verified data from Netng’s platforms on the web and social. The ‘Most Popular Fandom (BBNaija)’ is a voting category for the Class of 2022 Awards.
Liquolions pulled 58.9%, more than half of the votes in the category. Titans – Tacha followed with 15.5%, Icons – Laycon with 11%, Money Gang – Whitemoney with 7%, Elites – Erica with 4.5% and Mercenaries – Mercy with 3%.
Liquorose, before her entry into BBNaija, had had a thriving fan base due to the popularity of her dance crew, GGB Dance Crew, which features two other ladies – E4ma and Ellaley. Coming into the house, she gained more popularity for her energetic dances at Saturday Night Parties, winning the Head of House twice as well as her budding relationship with Emmanuel, a fellow housemate.
The latter led to the christening of the EmmaRose ship which inundated social media and heralded an even larger following for Liquorose. If the BBnaija Reunion is anything to go by, the EmmaRose ship appears to have sunk; however, instead of blemish, this must have embellished the popularity of Liquorose and her fandom.
