Skit maker and actor Enorense ‘Kiriku’ Victory has expressed delight after learning that he has won NET Honours 2022 Breakout Social Creator of the Year, his first-ever award since he joined the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Kiriku is popularly known for his comical portrayal of street life. The comedian who ventured into the industry as a 4-year-old amassed 32.6% of the total votes in just seven days of the nominee announcement, beating other top Nigerian social creators like Sabinus and Broda Shaggi.
“I can’t really express how I feel right now,” he reacted on his Instagram handle with 1 million followers.
Fans of the seven-year-old couldn’t hide their excitement as they poured in congratulatory messages.
“Congratulations,” wrote the Nigerian comic actor thecuteabiola. Nigerian foremost DJ Baddo also congratulated the skit maker on his well-deserved award.
The excited Kiriku revealed that the award is his “first award” as he thanked fans, NETng, and his management team for their continued support.
“Thank you all for your support. We made it.”
Data for the 15 voting categories for NET Honours Class of 2022 were sourced from over 21,000 voters who had voted for the favourites via the voting platform since Wednesday, June 22.
NET Honours is an annual people’s choice award presented to deserving individuals in the Nigerian entertainment industry with verified data from Netng’s platforms on the web and social.
