Police in Nairobi are currently in hot pursuit of armed robbers who hijacked a lorry loaded with 600 boxes of chewing gum in Nairobi, Kenya.
According to Nairobi Wire reports, it said that a gang of five robbers who were driving a Probox had attacked a Mitsubishi canter belonging to Jihan Freghters Company on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Industrial Area near Davis and Sharrif Company.
The Canter which was headed to Mombasa with 10 tyres and 600 boxes of PK chewing gum in it, was stolen while the drivers of the Jihan Freghters Company were ordered into their vehicle but the robbers later abandoned them at Lang’ata.
At the moment, Nairobi policemen are seriously on the case to track down the criminals that indulged in the act as they bid to bring them to book.
