A 35-year-old mother-of-four, Ejobosele Okoruwa reportedly took her own life in Ekpoma, Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State, on Monday, July 8, 2013 after dedicating her three months old baby the day before.
According to The Punch, her husband said though his late wife had few days before the incident made statements and exhibited some behaviours that suggested she was depressed, he never imagined his wife could take her own life.
The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Esan West Police Division, Ekpoma, Akpoko Omuohowo confirmed the incident and said they were investigating it.
