Hong Kong pianist identified as Henry Chau Hoi–lueng has bagged a life sentence for slicing the bodies of his parents with weapons and cooking them with rice in a microwave.
Henry recently pleaded guilty at the Hong Kong High Court for chopping the bodies of his mother, Siu Yuet-yee and father, Chau Wing-ki, before cooking them in the microwave and packing them in a refrigerator. He claimed he killed them because they declined funding his lavish lifestyle, according to reports.
Speaking in court, Judge Michael Stuart Moore who passed the verdict, also handed down an additional nine years and four months in jail for two separate charges of preventing the lawful burials of his parents, which he admitted earlier.
The judge also described Chau as ‘narcissistic’ and ‘preoccupied with fantasies for success’ before branding him a ‘dangerous individual after police discovered the heads of his parents whom were invited for dinner at his place.
