Viewers of Discovery Channel are enraged as the station didn’t fulfil their promises based on promotions to air the video of man being swallowed by an Anaconda.
The station promised viewers that they would get a glimpse of a man being swallowed whole by an anaconda in a special viewing edition titled ‘Eaten Alive.’
People were enraged when they tuned in to watch the highly anticipated programme only to find out the programme only showed a snake wrapped around the man and partially munch on his helmet.
President of Discovery Channel, Rich Ross has been forced to apologise for the false advertising at the Television Critics Association press tour with mounting complaints from viewers.
‘The right invention with a packaging that was misleading’ and went on to promise that the network would prioritize authenticity. It is very important to me that when people are telling stories they’re delivering information that is true, and it can be entertaining as well. I don’t believe you’ll be seeing a person being eaten by a snake in my time,’ he said.
