Nigeria’s apex financial institution, Central Bank of Nigeria has extended the deadline for the registration of Bank Verification Number (BVN). The new deadline is October 31, 2015
In a circular signed by ‘Dipo Fatokun, CBN’s Director of Banking and Payments System, the bank disclosed that the extension was arrived at to ensure every Nigerian is duly registered at the end of the exercise.
This announcement has elicited excitement among teeming Nigerians who are yet to complete the BVN process.
