A British man identified as John Rees Dobbs has been jailed for four years after stealing a chocolate box, Terry’s Chocolate Orange belonging to an 83-year-old pensioner.
42-year-old John broke into the woman’s house when she was asleep on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 and began scouting the house in for valuables, swiping cash and the chocolate treat but was forced to flee when the woman woke up and immediately called police.
Police officers who dashed to the scene and found Dobbs, with cash and Terry’s Chocolate Orange on him near the scene just half an hour later and got him arrested.
John Rees Dobbs appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Thursday, May 21, 2015 and was sentenced to four years in prison.
