The All Progressives Congress (APC) is organising a live internet broadcast through the means of a Google hangout to engage the youth.
Yemi Osinbajo, APC vice presidential candidate and Babatunde Fashola, Lagos State governor will be discussing APC’s plan to get Nigeria working again via a Google hangout session scheduled for today, January 27, 2015.
With an 80 percent youth unemployment rate in Nigeria, the country faces serious challenges which the party has promised to address if it wins next month’s presidential election.
The discussion will focus on the APC’s pledge to create about 1m jobs every year if elected and how they aim to achieve this ambitious goal. In choosing this medium, the party is demonstrating its commitment to engaging the youth population and demonstrating its readiness to use innovation to address Nigeria’s unemployment problems.
In addition to being streamed live to a global audience, the session will be available for subsequent viewing via APC’s YouTube page.
