said modern slave, identified as Ezekiel Akpu-Nku has allegedly expressed his excitement as a ‘toy’ of of the 13 year old.
Ezekiel, who was reportedly ‘bought’ by a wealthy American man named Wallace Turnquist for his 13-year old son, Skyler Turnquist in a 5-year contract through which he gets a paltry $1,000 per year plus room/board, one day off per month and unlimited snacks, expressed his excitement with the deal.
According to reports, Ezekiel has said he accepted the deal in order to save himself from starvation.
‘I’m very happy to be Skyler’s toy, In Africa I was starving, here, in the land of opportunity, my belly never go hungry.’
However, with the lack of information on the said deal and the lack of conviction portrayed in the reports, it is difficult to believe this happened anywhere at all, let alone Nigeria.
