NET Exclusive: Why I'm signing 5 new acts – D'Tunes

Difference Entertainment led by award-winning music producer, D’Tunes ‎unveiled a new act, Bad Boy Ace yesterday, April 28, 2015. NET has now gathered there are 4 more acts to be unveiled in the coming weeks simultaneously.

For over 3 years, the label has had Sean Tizzle as its only act and in an exclusive chat with NET, the label’s head, D’tunes explains why the label is signing more acts.

‘Music is music, it doesn’t matter if I sign one artiste or I go ahead and sign 100 more. We love good music, that’s what we believe in at Difference Entertainment and our achievements in such a short time best shows that. Personally, I want to be remembered as that producer/CEO that gave the youth a voice, that gave everyone talented enough an opportunity to be heard,’ D’Tunes said.

Speaking on the plans he has for the new acts, he added: ‘We just dropped their singles which would be immediately followed by a string of activities to unveil them to the press, fans and consumers of music. We’ll also embark on a nationwide Difference Entertainment club tour, then the videos to these singles would be released. Beyond all these, we hope to make them strong brands in the music industry at home, Africa and the world at large.’

Making it known that Sean Tizzle won’t mind having the new guys join him on the label, D’tunes said: ‘First and foremost, Sean has been my friend for close to a decade now and to be honest, he’s my pride and joy. There’s nothing more beautiful than seeing a friend succeed, he supports me all the way in everything I do in and outside music. Trust me, he’s an amazing individual hardworking, mature and very ambitious.’

According to the producer, the names of the new acts are Q-Dot, D-O, ATM, Kue Bounce and Bad Boy Ace, who was already unveiled yesterday with two songs.
