Pop star and record label executive, D’banj has revealed that he has come up with a solution on how music and movies can be properly physically distributed in Nigeria, while speaking at the just concluded 4th edition of Nigerian Entertainment Conference {NECLive}.
In his speech, he disclosed that he’s partnering with renowned movie producer and marketer, Gabriel Onyiyechi Okoye a.ka. Igwe Gabosky, the owner of G-Media, to launch the first physical authenticated distribution network in Nigeria
‘I have spoken with Igwe Gabosky of G-Media. I asked him what’s the problem and he made me realize the same thing I said is one of problems, which is physical distribution. We don’t have where we can go to buy original. And if you look at the original and the pirated there’s no difference,’ he said.
Speaking further, he stated: ‘Since I have been in the industry, the same packaging for original is the same way the fake is packaged. So I asked him what can we do, and finally we got talking. I am happy we have been able to come up with a solution. And very soon we are launching the first physical authenticated distribution network across Nigeria.’
