
Nate Dogg‘s son, Naijiel Hale has been dismissed from the University of Washington’s football team for disciplinary reasons.
According to Seattle Times reports, head coach, Chris Petersen announced the dismissal in a press conference on Friday, August 7, 2015: ‘Naijiel’s been dismissed from our program, We need to move forward. Wish Naijiel the best.’
Hale played the entire season as cornerback for the Washington Huskies football team last seasonn and he has said he will be playing for another team by next year.
Hale wrote in an Instagram post: ‘I Thank you coach Lake and Coach Peterson for being there for me and understanding everything that I go through.’
Although Hale’s Instagram post has been deleted, he also wrote: ‘Nobody in this world will understand my life yet I’m still moving forward. I’m so thankful to play and start many games as a True Freshmen in the PAC-12 and those memories will stick with me forever. New chapter ahead.’
His father, Nate Dogg, whose real name is Nathaniel Hale, died in 2011 from health complications caused by a series of strokes. He rose to prominence in the early 1990s working with notable music figures including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and others at Death Row Records.
