In an exclusive chat with NET, Anis says getting married is indeed a huge step. In his words, ‘marriage is a big step, it’s not even for kids, because when you think about the implications of leaving your own comfort, family background and way of doing things to marry someone from a different background. For me, it’s a good place to be, because I’ve known the woman for over 3 years and I’m certain that by God’s grace, she’s the one to be with because she fulfills all the qualities of resourcefulness, focus, help mate and she’s a strong woman which I think every man needs’.
Speaking on what’ll change about him now that he’s married, ‘I think it’s going to be the same for me because I’ve always been a media personality, I’ve always been in the media and music industry, I’ll only be more aware of my environment, be more aware of how I apply myself and the image I create. Being married naturally creates a sense of responsibility as a young man’ he said.
When asked to describe his wife in one sentence, he said, ‘My wife is awesome’.
Anis was introduced to the Nigerian audience when he was a contestant on Season 2 of MTN Project Fame West Africa. Since then, he’s gone ahead to pursue a solo career in music. He also hosted the maiden edition of Nigeria Idol, while his boo, Uche is TV producer who once worked with the Obi Asika led Storm Records.
