It’s your third year at the university. Coincidentally, it’s been three years since you moved to Lagos from an obscure hometown. You are informed that your mother – who is back in your hometown – is currently struggling with diabetes. Still a student, you have no idea how to foot the bills for her expensive medical treatment.
Eventually, you seek help – you are given a car and now, you are a cab driver. After all, you need the money. Your mother is dying. One fateful day, you agree to work at night. You forget you are in Lagos. Unbeknownst to you, this would set off a chain of events that would make you regret that decision forever.
The story is My Name Is A-Zed, a Nigerian web-series from The Naked Convos and we love it – it is wholly entertaining and engaging throughout. Watch the first three episodes below with the latest episode set to premiere by 6 pm today.
