MTV Base VJ and host, Ehizojia Okoeguale simply known as Ehiz, has finally addressed the hosting row between him and organisers of the 2014 Lasgidi All-Star concert.
On Tuesday, November 18, 2014, organisers of the 2014 Lasgidi All Star concert, 411 Entertainment made the announcement that the MTV Base VJ alongside Cool FM OAP, Shine will host this year’s gig but on Friday, November 22, 2014, Music and entertainment channel, MTV Base Africa refuted claims on their Twitter page that the VJ and TV host, Ehiz will host the 2014 Lasgidi All-star concert.
Speaking with Ehiz who hosted the launching event of TV series, Shuga’s 4th season on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Villa Medici Restaurant, Ehiz said: ‘There was a big misunderstanding, it (getting me involved with the show) didn’t happen, I’m not with that concert, I wasn’t and I never agreed to anything.’
Ehiz emerged winner of the 2013 MTV Base Video Jockey (VJ) search and got a brand new car and N10m contract with the Music and entertainment channel.
