The 9th edition of Africa’s widely watched reality TV show, Big Brother Africa tagged BBHotshots, came to an end last night, December 7, 2014 after 63 days with Tanzania’s Idris emerging winner.
Throughout the duration of the contest, Nigeria’s representative in the house, Tayo Faniran was a very popular and influential housemate who made it as far as the top two in the competition. With the buzz, twitter trends and votes he got, Tayo’s fans were rooting for him to come home with the $300,000.
This is after the early eviction of Nigeria’s other representative in the house this year, Lilian Afegbai,
Sadly, those were not enough to propel Tayo to the winner’s position as fans in Nigeria wanted and Twitter has been literally agog since late last night till now as fans and observers continue to have their say on the issue.
