Apparently, the beauty queen won the hearts of many with her flawless beauty and carriage at the pageant, the grand finale of which took place on Sunday, January 25, 2015 in Miami Florida.
However, the Caribbean beauty has no regrets and is proud of what she has done both on and off the Miss Universe stage.
In an interview with E! She said: ‘Well it was totally unexpected. I was so proud that I made the Top 5. It was such an amazing feeling. I believe it went exactly how it should, I’m so happy I had this opportunity. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.’
When asked if her heritage and her short hair had anything to do with her not winning, she said: ‘If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t change a thing, it’s only up from here…but I’m still focused on my studies. I do want to be a teacher, that’s my passion! I love kids! I also want to be a chef.’
