A Miss Africa 2010 pageant contestant has been found dead in her rented first-floor flat in Leyton, East London.
Rwandan national Linah Keza, 29, who was found in a ‘pool of blood’ by her neighbours who heard her screams was said to have been stabbed to death in front of her three-year-old daughter.
Keza’s daughter, Holly, was discovered crying beside her body as the attacker rushed out of her home.
London Police have made their first arrest – Keza’s former boyfriend, named locally as club promoter David Kikawa is now in Police custody on the basis of suspicion of murder.
Friends of the deceased say Keza and her former 38-year-old lover often had rows during their ‘on-off’ relationship.
More investigations are being made. Meanwhile, thousands have joined a Facebook page paying tribute to the late beauty pageant contestant/model.
