Months after he was dropped by Nigerian telecommunications company Globacom, Mike Ezuruonye has been picked up by rival brand Airtel Nigeria.
The Nollywood actor made the announcement through his Twitter account on January 9, 2013. ‘New neighborhood, new phone number, I’m coming alive with AIRTEL Call my new number, let’s talk. 0812 511 5182 My new AIRTEL number HOLLA!‘.
The actor features in Airtel’s new thematic campaign ‘Come Alive’. The campaign was launched on January 8, 2013. Ezuronye’s deal sources say runs into the millions.
Last year GLO dropped a number of their ambassadors including Nollywood actors Ezuruonye, Monalisa Chinda, Ramsey Nouah, Desmond Elliot.
