Jourdan Dunn is the cover girl for British Vogue’s February 2015 issue.
This is the first time in 12 years that a black model has been featured solo on the cover. The last time was in 2002, which had super model, Naomi Campbell as the cover girl. Dunn and Naomi Campbell were also the face for Burberry’s campaign shoot last month, which made international headlines.
The February cover is no doubt a promising start for the supermodel.
2014 was American Vogue’s most diverse year yet, and it looks like the industry is finally taking action in the face of an increasingly vocal public.
