After losing the world’s richest boxing bout to Floyd Mayweather on Saturday, May 2, 2015, Manny Pacquiao has revealed he fought with a shoulder injury which didn’t get any better days before the fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Speaking after the bout, the Filipino boxer said: ‘Three weeks before the fight I got a tear in my right shoulder, it got better but it wasn’t 100%.’
Floyd Mayweather won the bout by a unanimous points decision over his opponent after judges handed the American undefeated champion, who has now won all of his 48 fights with the scorecards of 118 – 110, 116 -112 and 116 – 112.
