Mariah Carey is thought to have made a subtle dig at her estranged husband, Nick Cannon during a show in Tokyo over the weekend, which left fans wondering whether the hunk had cheated on her.
The ‘Hero’ hit maker took to the stage for her ‘Elusive Chanteuse World Tour’ on Saturday night, October 4 and seemed to break her silence for the first time about her split from her husband two months ago.
While performing Billie Holiday’s classic ‘Don’t Explain,’ the 44-year-old Mariah changed the lyrics to the angry line of ‘I know you cheated, motherf****r,’ which left fans wondering if it was a sly reference to Nick.
Rumours that the 33-year old ‘America’s Got Talent’ host had cheated on the brunette beauty, with whom he has three-year-old twins – Moroccan and Monroe, began circulating in July after he admitted they were living separately but he later denied that infidelity had anything to do with the shocking break-up.
He added at the time: ‘My main focus is my kids.’
However, Nick, who married Mariah in 2008, has proved things aren’t good between him and his former spouse as he recently had his tattoo of the stunning star’s name covered up.
Nick had the inking, which is across his shoulders, transformed it into an elaborate tattoo of Jesus Christ and made sure he flaunted his new artwork during a night out at the Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood last week in celebration of his upcoming 34th birthday.
