Russian Tennis player, Maria Sharapova leads Serena Williams on the new Forbes sports rich list.
Maria Sharapova is the highest placed on the list, with her $29.7m earnings putting her in 26th while French Open champion and World No. 1 female Tennis star, Serena Williams earned $24.6m over the last 12 months and stands in 47th place.
Maria is currently ranked World No. 4 by the Women’s Tennis Association.
