Germany and Borussia Dortmund player, Marco Reus has been fined £427,000 for speeding charges and driving without a licence.
According to reports, the 25-year old German star was allegedly stopped by police several times and has been charged for speeding on not less than 5 occasions since 2011.
The matter got even more complicated when authorities discovered that the star had been driving without a licence from that time until March this year.
Speaking on the offences he committed, the former Borussia Mönchengladbach star said: ‘I decided back then to take that road but the reasons I did it are something I cannot really understand today.’
Speaking however on the transformation that has occurred to him since then, Reus offered: ‘Today I know that I was too naive and that it was stupid. I have learned my lesson and this will not happen again,’
Reports also have it that the fine was related to incidents from 2011 until this March 2014.
