A man in Gombe State, Mallam Umaru Kankani, has been sentenced to two years imprisonment after he pleaded guilty before the State High Court for fraudulently claiming ownership of a land and defrauding the complainant of N2.3m.
Kankani’s prison sentence comes with an option of N20,000 fine.
