A man in his 20’s was earlier today pinned to the ground by the police for chasing a RyanAir plane, departing for Amsterdam with a suitcase under his arm.
The passenger, believed to be Irish, was hitting the terminal window, asking the ground crew to hold the plane. He was arrested by the police moments later after he was seen running towards the taxing aircraft in a bid to stop the pilot.
The man was later taken to the station and is expected to appear at Dublin’s Criminal Courts of Justice. The flight departed 21 minutes behind schedule.
