MTV Base has announced the nominees’ list for the Best International Act category of the 2015 MAMA which comes up on Saturday, July 18, 2015 in South Africa.
The nominees include multiple Grammy award winner, Beyonce, Rihanna and Chris Brown. Others are Nicki Minaj and Big Sean.
The Best International Act category is the only category which focuses on musicians outside the African continent. The award was first won by Eminem in 2010 when the category was introduced. The 2014 edition of the award was won by Pharrell Williams.
MAMA would be returning to Durban, South Africa where the 2014 edition held and international music star, Ne-yo is billed to perform alongside Nigeria’s Yemi Alade, Davido and Tanzanian star, Diamond Platnumz.
