Recently, American rapper Jay Z dropped Lupita’s name in his song titled ‘We Made It’ featuring Jay Electronica, in which he also dissed Drake.
Jay rapped: ‘I’m on my Lupita Nyong’o, stuntin on stage after 12 Years A Slave. This Ace of Spades look like an Oscar. Black tux, look like a Mobster.’
The ’12 Years a Slave’ actress, who felt honoured to have her name on Jay Z’s song, took to twitter to show her warm appreciation. ‘Dear Mr. Carter & Mr. Thedford, your shout out made me screech with glee. Mad BK & NOLA love,’ she wrote.
