Barcelona striker, Luis Suarez has made Christmas really worth celebrating for several Uruguayan families as he has sent a total of 500 baskets filled with food and drinks to them for the celebration of the festive season.
The former Liverpool striker, who has been much maligned this year already both in his homeland, and across the globe, took a really thoughtful turn this time around with the very laudable gesture.
The 500 Christmas baskets were recently sent to Pereia Rossell Hospital with the words: ‘Wishing you a Merry Christmass and a wonderful 2015 with your loved ones’ written on the baskets and signed – ‘Luis Suarez and family.’
