American actress and singer Liza Minnelli has denied calling her ex-husband David Gest an ‘a**hole’ less than a week after he died.
Her publicist, Scott Gorenstein told THENETNG the 70-year-old has not addressed David’s passing.
In his words: ‘Liza Minnelli has not addressed David Gest’s passing and any suggestion that she has done so following his death is misleading’.
The music producer was found dead at his suite in Four Seasons hotel in London on April 12, aged 62.

David and Liza got married in 2002 with late King of Pop Michael Jackson as best man, and American actress Elizabeth Taylor as maid of honour. They both had an unstable relationship and David claimed to be a victim of domestic violence when their 16-month marriage ended in 2003.

Yesterday April 18, we reported the alleged claim after New York Post’s gossip columnist, Cindy Adams’ piece titled ‘Inside Liza Minnelli and late David Gest’s wedding’, where she revealed that her friend Liza, brands her former husband an ‘a ** hole’.
David’s friend Mark Lester also recently revealed he suffered from amnesia caused by ex-wife Liza Minelli hitting him on the head with a shoe, according to British tabloid, The Sun.
