
On March 8, 2010, Wayne was convicted to serve a one-year sentence at the Rikers Island prison after being charged for attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He was released November 4, 2010.
The publisher, Penguin Random House has announced an October 11 release for the long-awaited 176-page memoir.

Wayne’s thoughts and feelings, the people he met, his family, his children, his past and his future plans are detailed in the book described by the publisher as ‘deeply personal and revealing account of his time spent incarcerated on Rikers Island for eight months in 2010.’ No Fields Found.
