Focusing on the importance of money and why it is important to spend as hard as you work, Davido delivers a highlife inspired tune with Olamide rapping unusually in pidgin English. ‘The Money’ is also reminiscing of Davido’s ‘Owo ni koko’ which dropped in November 2014, exactly one year ago.
The duo, who first collaborated on ‘Panumo’ off Olamide’s 2012 sophomore album, YBNL, shot the visuals to the new single days ago in London.
